After our existing presence in Dallas, TX, and Sofia (EU), Scala now rocks a third server location, this time on the East Coast.
Introducing – the Hawthorne Datacenter, New York.
We have again trusted our partners at Tierpoint to ensure a top-class facility, equipped with everything needed for the smooth operation of all server hardware. The datacenter spans across 160,000 sq. feet and is fiber-connected to multiple POPs along the East Coast. TierPoint guarantees lightning-fast speeds by providing redundant IP bandwidth with 10Gb connectivity to all clients.
In terms of security, our datacenter partner provides 24/7/365 on-site electronic and physical monitoring. The TierPoint facilities look like they come straight from a spy movie – CCTV surveillance around every corner, biometric scanning, multi-factor authentication… In short – an impenetrable home to safely put the ScalaHosting servers.
The Hawthorne facility is audited by SSAE 18 SOC 2 Type II, PCI-DSS, GLBA, and HIPAA standards every year and registered to ITAR and EU-US Privacy Shield.
